My Path to Nutritional Therapy

My journey into nutritional therapy began with my own struggles around food, health, and healing. For years I searched for answers to the symptoms and challenges that kept me from feeling at home in my body. Things like gut issues, cycle irregularities, skin flare ups, and lingering fears around food and injury. I came to realize that true healing isn’t just about following rules or diets, but about reconnecting with the body, understanding its signals, and giving it what it truly needs to thrive.

As I began to learn and heal, I discovered a deep passion for sharing what I was learning with others. Cooking became one of my greatest outlets. A way to transform simple, whole ingredients into meals and snacks that support energy, balance, and joy. This personal transformation sparked a desire to help others navigate their own health journeys.

That calling led me to the Nutritional Therapy Association, where I gained the tools to translate nutritional science into practical, personalized strategies. My training in nutritional therapy has only deepened my passion, anchoring it in evidence-based knowledge, while keeping it rooted in empathy and compassion.

Whole Heart Wellness was born out of the belief that nourishing yourself can be both practical and deeply life-giving.

My mission is to help others rebuild trust in their bodies, restore balance through food, and create sustainable habits that feel aligned with their lives.

As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I bring more than just knowledge to our sessions. I bring understanding, empathy, and a commitment to your unique health journey.

Beyond My Practice

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me curled up with a good book, experimenting in the kitchen, or planning new cooking classes. I love recipe testing, making Love Bites, moving my body through yoga, or slowing down with meditation. I’m a certified yoga teacher who specializes in meditation to cultivate mindfulness and presence. I also treasure time with my family and pets and am always diving deeper into my education. Nutrition therapy isn’t just something I practice with clients, it’s how I live every day, bringing balance, joy, and nourishment into even the busiest moments.

Rediscovering Health Through Nutritional Therapy

In a world where quick fixes and fad diets dominate headlines, true health often feels elusive. But what if the key to wellbeing isn't found in the latest trend, but in understanding your own body?

I believe that your body communicates its needs through various signs and symptoms, and my role is to help you understand and respond to these signals.

Nutritional therapy isn't about restrictive diets or one-size-fits-all solutions. It's a journey of discovery – uncovering how different foods and lifestyle choices affect your energy, mood, and overall well being. Together, we'll translate your body's signals into actionable steps towards lasting health.

Hi I'm Jenna Taylor!

Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.

I specialize in gut health and blood sugar regulation to help people reclaim their health. My approach focuses on addressing root causes combined with science-backed nutrition strategies to empower you to understand your body, restore confidence, and feel truly nourished from the inside out.

Whether you're grappling with persistent health issues or simply aiming to feel your best, nutritional therapy offers a path forward. It's not just about what you eat – it's about how you live, sleep, move, and manage stress. It's about seeing your health as an interconnected system and nurturing it holistically.

Curious about what your body is trying to tell you? Let's work together to decode its messages and boost your health.

My Approach: The Foundations of Health

My approach is built on what Nutritional Therapy calls "The Foundations of Health." These are the cornerstones of wellness that, when properly supported, allow health to flow naturally. They include:

Nutrient-Dense Diet

Whole, thoughtfully prepared, foods are a source of joy and nourish the body with the nutrients it needs to thrive.

Optimal Digestion

What we eat has little impact if we can’t digest and absorb the nutrients. Proper digestive function is essential for the health of every cell and system.

Blood Sugar Regulation

From energy balance, metabolism, and inflammation to hormone production and mental health, blood sugar regulation is crucial to maintaining wellness.

Quality Sleep

Adequate, quality sleep is essential for optimal physiological and cognitive function.

Stress Management

We cannot always control our stressors, but managing our response to stress has profoundly positive physical and mental impacts on health.

When these foundations are strong and balanced, they create a synergy that allows your body to thrive naturally. Think of them as the roots of a tree—when nourished properly, they support vibrant growth above.

My role is to help you understand and strengthen these foundations in a way that's tailored to your unique body and lifestyle. Together, we'll explore how each of these areas impacts your health and develop strategies to optimize them.

This approach isn't about quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions. It's about creating a robust foundation for lasting health, giving your body the support it needs to function at its best.
